what is wrong with my setup?

put new ip, rv275 injectors, new rotary lift pump, edge ez, and k&n filter on my 99 5 spd excab s/b 2500 3;55 gears and lost milage. was gitting 21 now gitting barely 20 on goooooood day. what did i screw up??

Only problem I see is the K/N. I wouldnt complain about 20 mpg.

I agree !!! Ditch the K&N and get a dry filter like BHAF or Amsoil

I think you have worse mileage because.....you have too much fun driving it

ok ,lol, even when i behave it still shud git better than 19/20 , waz b4 i did anything 2 it. everything i did was supposed to improve milage ,or so it said ,yea rite,. all my friends that run edge ez got 2 to 3 better milage. i no i shudn,t gripe at 20 , but dangit want more (always,lol).help????????

i,m in okla ,, no winter mix here. my friends all swear they r gitting 22to 25 with my set up .

Sometimes my friends stretch the truth to help out their own causes! I would bet your right foot got a little heavier after you contracted Moditis. I lost some mpg the first couple weeks after installing just a 4" exhaust, but I've got it back to around 20 mpg now, $3.69/gallon does that to me.

I wish i was getting 20. I drive like a bat outta hell though. Only getting around 14mpg doing 75mph

I'm suffering from terminal sticker shock.
I'd really like to know how they can get away charging more for fuel than gasoline, we all know it cost much less to produce diesel & yes, I've heard of "supply/demand" economics, I've also heard of "rape".
