What is the difference

What is the difference between a auto apps and a manual apps? I know the auto comes with a diffrent bracket for the trans cable connection. But what about the sensor it self?

Thats A good question,, I will be watching this post ,, Cause I have a 5 Speed man Trans With a Automatic TPS (APPS) On it and it works great ,,, ALSO I did not see any difference in the bracket or anything else ,, The only difference is there is a VDC spec on it,0.512VDC, on one and the other is a little different reading,,, BUT I have not found a apps with the same VDC rating on ANYONE's,, The sensor is the same part number.. SO I just bought another used one(auto) on eBay for $62.00 for spare parts. I sure someone will chime in with some info..

Thanks

I guess Nobody else knows either,, Here is what I found.. I have 3 APPS...
I have a 5 speed truck and have put a automatic APPS on it,. I compared the two sensors and the ONLY difference I can see is the Spring tension on the bellcrank,,, That was the first thing I noticed,,as soon as I pushed on the go pedal.. BUT THIS IS The ONLY difference, Each one has a Different VDC setting on it,, I have 2 automatic one's and one standard one,, All VDC markings are different,,,,AND The part number on the sensor itself are ALL the same,, I also dont see any difference in the bracket,,, I take that back ,, I just went out to my garage and got both out and YES there is an extra hole in the bracket,,
SO you could use an Automatic's ON a Standard BUT NOT a Standards on an Automatic,, Cause of the bracket difference,,
Going to post Photos of the APPS....
