What controls the computer on the vp 44 pump

What controls the computer on the vp 44 pump

Is it the pcm, bcm, pcm, or what. I have is intermittent trottle almost like limp mode ( the truck is a 2000 ram 3500) does 2000 ram have limp mode. And i have no codes

The ECM controls the vp44.

Sounds like you have a bad APPS....

I did replace apps with timbo apps same problem

Did you reset the APPS and check its resistance per the instal instructions?

Fuel filter?

No codes leads me to believe its a fuel issue, so I would check the fuel pressure pre filter and at the vp44. If your lift pump is TU and the vp is sucking its own fuel you are gonna want to get right on that, or it will start throwing codes for sure...
