Weird tranny problem!

I have a 2002 3500 24V auto tranny. Sometimes in the mornings (especially when it's cold), my tranny will have a hard time deciding to stay in 1st gear or switch to 2nd. It happens at slow speeds (10-15 mph) when I keep the pedal steady driving out of my driveway. It drives me insane. Sometimes it will even rev up and then kinda "lock" into gear. All fluids are good level. Any ideas what my problem might be?

i had the exact same problem, replace your governor pressure solenoid and transducer and your problem will be gone. Your should be able to get both parts for around $200 and you have to drop the pan to install them but its pretty simple.
