VP44 Gets Replaced
VP44 Gets Replaced
Well after 130000 miles, and babying the ole' cummins for the last 15,000, I finally decided to get the VP replaced. It is at the shop today, and will find out from my pops later when I can expect it back. it has been having the dead pedal syndrome, and the white smoke in the mornings, and also misses a lil at lower rpm's. after you get over about 1500rpm, she is fine.
Forgot to mention that the lift pump was dead about 30000 miles ago when I had no gauges, plus I still have not installed the ones I have got, man i am lazy.
Also got to get it lined up, as it is feathering the outside of the right front tire, and those maxxis buckshots are expensive to be eating..
hopefully I can expect it back by wednesday...
