VIN read out
When I had truck service at Bellingham Chrysler had them print out the VIN listing of the equipment on the truck. Most of them I can figure out.
Dont know wht code 648S Washington state code or 948S Washington state code means. Does it do anything for me?
Also have codeDHAP lock up torque Converter. It don't lock up when I take my foot of the loud pedal. Tac goes down to 800 RPM.
I sure have learnd a lot here, reading all the posts.
The best for 2005.

No idea what those Washington codes are, maybe something similiar to the California emissions?
Lockup converter is standard in the 47RE, locks up in 3rd and overdrive, and yes, it unlocks as soon as you let off the go pedal in OD, but if you have OD locked out, it waits till the RPM is some number (I don't know what though), so you get a little engine braking.

the state code could be as simple as a front liscense plate mount if the state it is ordered for requires a front and rear plate. its not anything more than a compliance of some type.
the converter does unlock when your foot is off the gas. tip in the throttle lightly and you will feel it lock up. sounds normal to me.
