i hope somebody knows what is going. my truck seems to run fine when im cruising down the road but when it builds about 25 pounds of boost, it makes a kind of crackling noise out of the exhaust. when it idles, the exhaust has a pulsing sound kind like old tractors at farm shows, and smokes like crazy just idling. it smells like unburnt fuel. all my fluids seem to be fine. it seems to have the same power as before. i got a crankshaft position sensor code, i believe it was 0336. i changed the sensor, no code, but runs the same

 

Have you checked the Exhaust Manifold for cracks? I had a similar issue on my truck and found 3 cracks on the Manifold. Apparently the stock Exhaust Manifold does not like the weight of the turbo and rough roads...

I have a similar problem but i upgraded mine to ats manifold any other ideas ??

 

i dont see any cracks, i believe its in the fuel system somewhere
