What am I looking at when I am trying to line my marks up for top dead center and vise versa. THANKS GUYS

 

On page 9-245 of 2000 FSM it shows the mark on IP gear straight up for TDC on # 1 cylinder. 2002 is the same. Have to remove fuel pump gear access cover to see. Remember you can barr the engine with alternator pulley backwards.

 

But most of all if both valves are closed The stroke being so long and the duration so lage you cant hardly be wrong
