Vacuum reseal

I resealed my pump and I am not sure if something is wrong.... got it back together and it spins but not without effort. Not saying it is hard to turn but definitely is not free spinning. I know they should not be too easy to spin but this seems alot. Any idea?

And, any source for the rubber reducer nipple that goes on the pump?

I have not tinkered with my vacuum pump....my vacuum loss was from a cracked coupler at the firewall and an oil soaked one down on the axle disconnect....so that is an absolutely useless answer for your question

I found out that sometimes these pumps will bind some when putting them back together. The fix is doing some shimming under the gear as you tighten the two halves up. Gould gear and electric has some good videos of it.
