Vacuum pump?

Alright guys. its getn colder and everything out nd things r not working rite for the winter. I read some other forums that were posted. It sounds like my vacuum pump. My heater is on defrost and my fourwheel drive is not engaging. The question is I heard hissing sound coming from around the vacuum pump area. Obviously it is working o it wouldnt b hissing right? Is there a seal that goes around the pump? How hard is it to change if it is bad? And how much? Thanks for your help

It appears to me that you have a vacuum leak. I recommend you give Mr. Pete Gould a call. His # is on this website: www.fixinrams.com

I am a satisfied customer with his professionalism, and his service.

When I had my 00 3500, the hose from the vacuum pump would come apart from the Y on the firewall, Drivers side. That killed the Hvac controls for me.
