I replaced the seals on my vaccum pump last summer and it is leaking again. What gives? Any good solutions other than doing it again and again?

 

Yeah i took mine to the dodge dealer and the told me i needed a new vaccum pump and $1200 so I hopped on the web and found the place sells the seal kits and did that. It held up for me about 2years then i sold the truck. The best thing i could tell you is to put new seals in again and be carful not to nic any of them. It's a pain in the butt.

 

Don't use the Cummins Kit, with the single lipped seal!
