turbo whistle
turbo whistle
i love the scream my turbo makes when i take off the air in take hose and run it straight open, but i know that its seriously harmful and dont do it very often or any great distance when i do this..
what can i do to make it scream that loud all the time and will being open turbo like that cause the turbo to over spin and cause harm?

And I've got a K&N in the stock filter housing but doesn't make it whistle any louder, and I've noticed since the new filter that I'll find oil residue and little puddles in the very front lip of the turbo housing where the intake hose clamps on, turbo is good is it just the filter oil being sucked in?
K&N filters aren't the highest recommended around here.
Is it engine oil or air filter oil?
Many times too much filter oil is applied to the wet filters, this can actually trap dirt and cause it to get sucked into the intake...not good.
A little engine oil in the front of the intake housing is ok. Mine alwys has a touch of it sitting there when I do an oil change.
