What parts does this curb height lowering kit contain? Why would the overload springs have to be removed if the whole truck is lowered proportionally to the axle? Does this lower the gooseneck ball height 1 7/8" like the kit, or a little more? Thanks

 

The kit was designed for trucks with the camper group. I believe it comes with shorter blocks for rear axle. Then they remove the overload springs and sway bar. It was suppose to help with hooking up 5th wheel travel trailers, by lowering the rear of the truck.
