The truck information and mods are in my signature. I parked the truck overnight the next day it wouldnt start. With the key in the on position everything comes on as normal, radio, guages, lights, etc. The batteries are not old or dead. when you turn to crank the radio shuts off but nothing happens at the starter. I took the starter off and took it to the local advanced auto and watched the guy test it twice. Both times it failed. I replaced. Still have the exact same problem. I also replaced the neutral safety switch, I looked on here and saw that they were common to go up. Still have the same problem. I have power at 5 of 6 wires at the ignition switch with the key in the run position and the 6th when in the crank position. Also have tried swapping relays still with no success.
Anyone have any ideas, trucks been down for a week and i need it for work.

Check your starter fuse under the hood. I had the same problem. I had to jump the fuse size up by 5. Been working great.

 

Do you have an aftermarket alarm on the truck or similar? Do the headlights dim when you try to start (probably not)? Sounds like the signal isn't reaching the starter solenoid for some reason - like an interrupt of some sort. Have you tried shorting out the neutral safety switch to eliminate it (I know you replaced it but elimination takes away all doubt for testing)?

I don't think your codes are relative to the "no try to start" issue - it is between your ignition switch and the starter somewhere but the question is where?
