2001 metal coolant lines HELP
2001 metal coolant lines HELP
I have a 2001 3500 I'm leaking coolant put of the metal line near the oil filter appears to be hooked up to a bottle looking canister under the turbo. Does anyone have a link or diagram of these metal lines and what are they called? Dealer over the phone was no help at all was on my way to work and now stuck. If I took it to place like Midas few blocks away think they could replace or just put rubber hose? I'm guessing the lines 3 total are metal because of heat near exhaust manifold? If I knew the name of the line? I could possibly replace myself. please help they are all connected to a short rubber tube approximately 2" at the connections thank you
replaced both metal coolant lines that go to the torque converter cooler $60 each and metal line to heater hose (core) another $60. the canister that is the torque converter cooler is pretty rusty also, dealer says $539.00 part any ideas on aftermarket or less expensive alternative? i believe that this was an upgrade as a TC cooler was an option on the code sticker
