My 01 won’t turn over. When I hit the key the first time it just clicks, like it's got a bad battery after hitting the key several times it will fire right up. Help? I almost got strained this evening it took like 10 tries to get it to turn the motor over. I think it is the starter.

 

Starter contacts are bad.

 

Buy a starter rebuild kit off Ebay and rebuild it now, before it doesn't start at the wrong time and you lose a day of work because you are rebuilding your starter.
The kits are ~$20 and it takes about an hour from start to finish.
You will need a 12pt 10mm box-end wrench to get to one of the starter bolts. You can get to the rest with a regular socket.

 

Check your power wire running to your starter from your battery, that was one problem with mine, the other was the wire running between my batteries would let power over to the other one then stop for a bit. Hope you get to the bottom of it
