Truck Vibrating/shaking while braking

Truck will shake while braking. if you ease into the brakes it won't do it, but if you firmly press on brakes(not slamming on them) the truck shakes like you are going over washboards on a gravel road. Can feel it in steering wheel, but not the brake pedal, as I thought it was warped rotors, but they have been replace 2 years ago, for what its worth. THe tires started getting a scalloped edge in the inside and a little of the out side. This is what I have done to try to fix it.

Check ball joints. Still tight. only one lower has Just VERY slight play.
New Idler and pitman arms, 2 months ago.
New calipers, pads last night.
Greased/packed wheel bearings last night. They were loose, and helped out my vibration at 50-70 A TON.

What next? Tie rod ends. The have at least 100,000 mi on them. Still feel fairly tight.
Could rotors be warped. Can the 2wd rotors be turned? They are $$$$ to replace. Didn't feel like a warped rotor, when compared to when i had warped rotors on my car.
Could it be in the rear end? I'll try setting the parking brake while Rolling to see if the shows up(Read that in another vibration thread).
What else?

I'm hoping tie rod ends. Easier than tearing hubs/bearings/brakes apart again

I would say the rotors are warped, not the drums on the rear, since you feel it in the steering wheel. Worn tie rods would cause play in the steering, especially while going at highway speeds. Turning the rotors is not expensive if you pull them yourself, much cheaper than replacing. If this continues, you will probably need to invest in some high dollar drilled and slotted rotors to take care of some of the heat.

I went to lunch and performed this test.
Got up to 45mph, pushed e-brake(not all the way) and the vibration showed up.
So that leads me to believe that it is in the back of the truck: Drums or shoes or bad adjustment.
Also, it is MORE noticeable with 60 pounds of air in air bags, and when I let it out to 10 it is very very slight. I don't think the bags have anything to do with it as far as causing it, I think they make it more noticeable/less, because of the firmness of the ride.
Any ideas. I'll probbly try to adjust brakes tonight. I think they are loose.
How do you measure too much vs too loose.
I know i have enough pad, I checked no to long ago.

If you mean contaminated with brake fluid? No. I'm gonna hose them down with brake cleaner and adjst them tomorrow and go from there.
Maybe I'll replace cylinders with Chevy while I'm there.

Put new quality rivited linings on it (Bendix) have the drums turned look for burn spots, if you have them replace the drum. If the rears are vibrating you need to do a full job. Adjustment will only give you more pedal. The fronts do most of the braking until you hit they harder.

Mine does the same, and I know it needs rotors turned, Next project. I guess

Light breaking, no problem, but really tromp on it, and it vibrates all over the place. That darn ABS on the back is awful, though. In hard breaking it will always break loose and make it hard to stop. I can stop much faster when I pull the ABS fuse!
