New tires, now the truck shakes while braking
I recently put on new 33x12.50-16.5 Bfg at's. on new rims.
I replaced some 265/75 Cooper ATR's (loved them, but got a deal on the bfg)
Since i did the swap, the truck shakes like wharped rotors. I changed out the rotors, no help. I rotated tires, no change. I swapped in a new tranny mount since the original was shot, no change.
I'M STUMPED. I'm almost to the point of getting smaller tires again, But the 33s realy look nice and I just want the truck to work right.
Any help?
thanks, Kent

I rotated the spare in place of each tire, never went away completely, but did get better twice. i pt the truck on jackstands and let the tires spin free, up to about 30 mph, and found 2 tires that were not even a bit round. I guess I'll see what the BFG dealer wil do for me. wouldn't you notice that on the spin balancer?

Had a bfg at go outta round on me. got it balanced twice and both times It was balanced way down but always horrible on the road. Figured the outta round situation the third time around at a competent shop. turns out u can balance out a oval shaped tire on the stand, but an egg will always roll like an egg lol makes sense if u think about it
