truck stranded, need help...
Ok y'all, need some advice. Went to start my truck today, pushed in clutch and started it, with the tranny in 1st gear. It started bucking and jumping around then slowly moved forward. I got it stopped and now I can't disengage the clutch and shift out of 1st. Whenever I depress the pedal, it feels close to normal, but when it pops back out it is real slow and has zero force behind it.
Welp, 440 bucks later I got me a new master and slave cylinder. Since gettin that fixed, I have now noticed some of the symptoms. Their onset was so slight, and over a long amount of time I didn't really notice. They primarily were a slight shuddering on initial acceleration out of first and kinda choppy shifts afterwards. Wish I could have seen the signs in order to avoid getting stranded in the field. Oh well, lessons learned.
I had my slave cylinder **** out all of its hydrolic fluid in my nissan pickup when i was stuck in the city. I just drove it home without a clutch. Would have been nice if it had more then 114hp though.
