Truck dies and wont restart...
I have a 2000 2500 2wd CTD stock except for a superchips and straight pipes. I was making a u-turn to turn around and park outside my house, mid u-turn the engine just conked out and then wouldnt start again. I had about an eigth of a tank of fuel left and my fuel light had come on earlier in the day. The light was not on at the time it died and didnt come on when letting it sit. I plugged in the superchips and got code:
P0602: Powertrain Control Module Programming Error
I reprogamed the superchips and its no longer throwing a code, however still will not fire. The engine cranks strong just acts like it is not getting fuel.
This morning I added a few gallons of fuel to get it up to 1/4 tank and it still just cranks. Any ideas what the edit this could be??? Is there a procedure to follow to prime the fuel system after running it dry if that is what happened here?

You probably ran it out of fuel, so you need to prime the fuel system, you should start by "bumping" the starter, turn the key till it cranks, but dont let it start. Then leave the key on the "on" position and your lift pump should run for about 25 seconds, you can hear it run. You should loosen the banjo bolt that is on the injector pump and comes from the fuel filter, keep on bumping the starter until you see fuel leaking out of this bolt (shouldn't be more than 3 or 4 cycles), tighten that bolt up and loosen two injector lines. #1 and #3 are easiest to get to, then bump the starter one last time...let it run through its cycle. Then try to start it, it should start within 20-30 seconds. It will run rough since the two lines that you cracked open are not firing, they should be sqirting fuel out though. Once you get the truck to fire, shut her down...tighten those injector lines you opened and start her up...she'll run rough for a few seconds but then even out.
