Fuel Pressure Question
Fuel Pressure Question
01 4x4 Quad
I replaced my LP yesterday, put in an OEM Carter, pressures are better 15-17psi on key cycle, and 7-10 on cranking. Truck don't start, (have reman VP-44 on the way). Can anyone tell me if there should be pressure on the system after the LP pump shuts off. I replaced the overflow valve in the VP because it was not holding pressure. 70,097 miles, Adding a Vulcan Relocation Kit (Geno's Garage) and a Westech Fuel PSI Guage (Geno's Garage).

Thanks for the info, as i had read a thread where someone said there was a check valve in the tank and if this was true then it should hold some pressure which it was not. I could not find anything in the factory manual on this either.
Thanks once again
