Truck stalled and will not restart!!!

I started my truck this morning. It is about 27F out I had it plugged in all night. It idled for about 10 mins, I drove about 100 yds and it stalled and died. Will not restart. It turns over but no start not even an indication of a start. I got diesel 911 with 5 gallons of fresh diesel. I poured it in the tank and fuel filter. Still won't start. I got codes P0514 and P0483. Any ideas? Thanks

The P0514 shouldn't be a problem. The P0483 I don't know for sure. Here's the link to the code list in the wiki. http://wiki.dieseltruckresource.com/wiki/Computer_codes

Thanks Rick. I do also have the cel on but the 0483 is the fan speed, which I doubt would have any impact on the engine stalling and not starting back up.

The P0514 shouldn't keep it from starting. I had that on mine with no starting issues. It requires a dealer re-flash to fix it.

Funny it didn't throw any of the usual codes for the pump. Are they going to do the update on your computer as well?

Just got back from over 2 months of traveling and was worried about my LP going out the entire time (with all the posts about it). How many miles have you got on your rig?

Had exactly the same problem when my truck was new. Twice. The second time they moved to the in-tank lift pump and I haven't had a problem since.

ugh....

It wasn't the lift pump. Now they think it is the injection pump. Any suggestions? Should I g stock on the new injection pump or after market? They aren't cheap, I'm looking at $2,400.00 all said and done. It is normal for this to happen at 161,000 miles?

Did they tell you why they think it is the cp3? It is not common in 161000mile or 500000 miles. It happends but not often. If you need one there is one in the 3rd gen classifieds for 700.
