Truck Dies Intermittently
Gents,
Please help me diagnose an issue that has got me stumped.
My truck has a problem where it intermittently dies, and I have to restart the engine. This can happen at idle, or when I'm driving. It is just like someone shuts the key off. Truck sometime starts right back up, other times will crank for awhile, but has always eventually started up again. I've done the following to try and solve the issue:
-Replacement of VP44 Injection Pump;
-Fuel Filter replacement (18 PSI consistently post fuel filter);
-Changed the fuel system relay in the fuse box;
-Reset the APPS.
The only things I can think of that are left is:
-Bad ground somewhere;
-Crankshaft postion sensor;
-Camshaft postion sensor;
-ECM.
Truck is a 1998.5 24V standard. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
