I have a buddy that has a 2000 Dodge and he is having problems with his transmission shifting. ONce you put it in over drive and you get behind sombody slow that bogs it down around 1100 rpm and you give it gas to go around somebody it surges around 1100-1500 rpm. and what i man of surging is that it jumps from 1100 - 1500 rpms and when you take it out of overdrive or you get high enough rpm it goes away. It goes away around 1500-1600 rmps. I am not sure what it is or if it is the overdirve or not. But any information would be helpful and appriciated.

Sounds like maybe a TC problem ?
