Transmission light came on.

My service manager borrowed my truck yesterday to deliver a tractor. He had to pull it up the mountain. He said that at one point the transmission light came on. He pulled over and waited a few minutes untill it went off. It wasnt in overdrive and he said it pulled fine. The light never came back on. Should I be concerned about anything here?

I'd be concerned about why my boss would ask to borrow my personal vehicle to make a delivery.
My Truck, I drive.

Check the fluid to see if it's dark colored or smells 'burnt'.
If so, I'd have the fluid and filter changed on HIS dime.

Well our 1 ton was in the shop and I needed a tractor delivered. The fluid smells fine but it probably is a little dark.

If it's driving OK, I'd still ask to have the fluid and filter changed.

I believe that light is set to come on at 250 degrees. Way too hot in my opinion. I'd definitely have it changed
