The dealer put a new transfer pump retro kit on my 02 truck under warranty and now my truck feels like it lost power.What could be the problem.

 

did he put in the vp44 too? typically they go out in sequence. There should not be any noticable power from a lift pump......they either work or the truck doesn't run......but if the injection pump was dying......

 

Check to see if they bypassed the old pump or are pumping through it.

 

No they didn't do the VP44,but the dealer said to bring it back and they would test the fuel pressure.
