You will be best served with a lift and a trans jack.
We did mine on a lift and trans jack and it took us a couple of days. We weren't working that fast so we took our time.
With a good jack you can take the trans and transfer case out at the same time. The transfer case is only six bolts,so it comes off easily if need be.
Hardest part will be removing the trans crossmember. You will need a BFH to get it out. Other than that it is not hard. We have done a few since then and it gets easier every time.
