You have, in your area, one of the most respected tranny rebuilders on this web site.... in Va.
Worth at least a phone call, or a visit, to see if you two click....
Unless you can do the work yourself, a quality installer is key to your satisfaction; more so that brand, IMO.
I know members that have driven many hundreds of miles just to have Tim do their tranny work.

I have been running "ATS Transmissions" in all of my Dodge CTD Pickups since 200-2001 and am very happy with them. You can look at my signature to see what kind of power and torque I am running through those trannies, especially in my 1996.
But with that being said, I agree with DTR Member RowJ on what a great shop Tim Barber has at TRE Diesel. Tim is a great guy, he is pretty close to you and he definitely knows how to build a performance tranny for our trucks.
Good luck!

Ding, Ding, Ding, We have a winner. The installer is where it's at on all the major brands of transmissions. Goerend is good, suncoast is good, Floor It Diesel is good but a close installer with a good reputation is more important than any brand name. Tim would be your man.
