47RE, and check your TPS.

Mine used to do this, mostly as it is getting ready to go into lockup ( 45-47 MPH).

I have heard if it is just a dirty TPS you can repidly mash the gas pedal 10-15 times ( with the truck OFF ) and it will help clean it. Another possibility is signal interference of the Alternator wire, wrapping it with foil sometimes helps. Do a search here and you should find all the info you need.

I am using Dexron-MerconIII in mine per a performance dealer recommendation for firmer shifting - no problem.

The Dextron III is only for use in DTT built trannies from what I've heard. I run it in my also per my installer's advice. I would stick with the factory fill on a stock tranny.

3 is fine,,but you may get a little convertor shudder with it.thats the purpose in using 4,it has shudder additive in it to make it slip a little.........im pretty sure all aftermarket builders use 3 after upping line pressures...ive even had one popular builder send me 2 tubes of dr.shudder additive to lose the slight shuddering issues i was having with his convertor.............bama
