tranny was shuttering under load took into shop had new convertor installed and went through trans also had them put on a deep pan and a new hot line so I could install my sender from the plug on the side of the trans to the hot line ,picked up truck after about 20 minutes of stop and go traffic temp would reach 230 before when the sender was in the side it would go to 200 after about 35 minutes of stop n go took back to tranny shop put new convertor in still does it pulled apart checked every thing again didnt find anything wrong put another convertor in still does the same it been in the shop awhile now does anyone have any suggestion a good tranny guy is doing it has lots of experience has built other trannys for me all great Thanks

 

Sounds about right to me, the hot line temperature should be quite a bit hotter than the case if you are sure about the location? I think you are talking about the line to the cooler?
