I am "planning" my tranny upgrade with a BD Single disk torque converter, BD valvebody and BD pan. A local guy here has a layaway plan for the parts I am going to start now anticipating the day when my 47RE starts slipping. Can anyone tell me what I should expect for labor costs? I got a phone estimate for around 600.00 from another local guy for all the above. Does that sound good? Also, I see that BD has the high and low stall converter. I plan to add studs and injectors next, then maybe a bigger turbo....so maybe hit 500hp "someday" so maybe the high stall is what I need?

Any tips appreciated!

600.00 is that just to R & R and install the 3 items? If so thats about right. You might want to update the flywheel at the same time.
