tranny problems i think

tranny problems i think

i have a 02 dodge 3500 dully camper puller its got fass fuel system a bhaf filter and a supper chips programmer when im going down the hiway my trucks rpm is 1800 and i start going up hill and not much of a hill the rpms will climb to 2100 and once in a will the truck will start shaking and the rpms will go back down to 1800 and the truck will shift down what could be the problem be torque converter?

Sounds like your Torque Converter is disengaging as you are going up a hill, and then trying to engage as you are still on the throttle (which could cause shaking, shudder being as you have added HP to the engine) This is just my opinion though

Don't forget to check/clean all your grounds. I've seen a lot of this advice for auto trans troubles. Cheap and easy.

How long ago and what type tranny fluid did you last use?
Sounds like a new TC and trans rebuild are in your future.
