Noticed my truck kind of shudders a little when shifting gears, especially when towing. Only does it when shifting into over drive, or when trying to lock into 4th when in tow/haul mode. And not all the time either. Kind of feels like when you hit those rumble strips they put in front of some stop lights, to wake you up and pay attention to the light. Kind of a light bouncing/shuddering. Checked my trans. fluid, it's fine. What could that be?

Sounds like TC shutter. Not too much else that it could be really.
Unless your lock up is indecisive for some reason?

 

I'm sure you're right about the TC shudder. What does that mean? Have I fried something? Might be coughing up the $$$ for a Goerend sooner than I had planned.

Well, I haven't experienced it myself, only read about it. I'm under the impression that if you take it easy, you could have many happy miles aheas of you. On the ohter hand, if it keeps happening, you could be in trouble.

Someone with some first hand experience will chime in here.
