tranny line leak help!!!!!!!!
i have a 2000 2500 cummins 4x4 and i have problemThe tranny cooler located in the grill has an incoming and outgoing hardline that comes down dehind the bumper. They sit a few inches a part. just behind the bumper and before they go under the motor and split off. they appear to transition from hard line soft line. It looks like a factory pushlock fitting on both lines but where these junctions meet it is leaking tranny fluid like crazy. I can move the line in and out about a quarter of an inch
any ideas help me guys i know you will

The quick disconnects have O ring in that may be servicable. The hose itself can be replaced with another hose and clamps eliminating the coupling.

just slide the new hose passed the rib on the hard line so it doesn't slide off. its a pain but mine hasn't moved since. With hose should be about $20 bucks, just make sure u use 1/2 inch tranny line.

They are not serviceable. You may be able to find some o-rings that might work. I just cut mine off with a cutoff tool, slid the rubber line forward and clamped it. Been that way for more than a year and no trouble so far. The lines are pretty expensive to replace and the dealer says they only sell the complete line.

same thing, i had the same thing during snow plow season and the local tranny shop said cut the pushlock fitting off and hose clamp it, they do it all the time. been that way for a while now , no leaks.thats the way to go.

I was the idiot that paid the dealer to fix my lines. I was out of town and needed my truck to get home. That was before i knew about DTR and the amazingly simple home remedies that are available to fix all the mopar junk. You can't repair the quick disconnect fittings. You have to buy all new lines. I would recommend cutting the fitting off and clamp the hose to the hard line like everybody. My coworker also did it.
