Tranny
Doing a project for school, wondering what the dimensions are on the bolts from the back of a NV4500 4WD, and the bolts on the front of a 47RE. Drawing an adaptor to put 2 trannys in. Bad idea, but it is only in theory, and it needs to get me through manufacturing class. Also, how does the torque converter bolt to the flex plate?

Probablly not gonna get technical answers on demensions. For your research, it would probablly be easier to install auto trans first and make coupling to connect auto tranny to input of manual. A crossmember to hold manual might put it together.
The torque converter attaches to flex plate via bolts through flexplate into threads built on face of converter.
Go to a junk yard and have a look see at all these pieces.

The more I think about it, the more i think that bellhousing-like structure built into the auto would be better bolted to the motor. Thanks for the help.
