Recommendations on head gaskets and bolts too please.

 

torque specs. on 1998.5 and earlier models
step 1 all long bolts 66 lbs
step 2 long bolts 89 lbs
stpe 3 all bolts turn another 90 degrees

torque specs. on 1998. and later
step 1 59 lbs
step 2 77 lbs
step 3 77 lbs re-check
step 4 turn an additional 90 degrees

lightly lubricate head bolts with engine oil
ARP bolts, still looking for a good gasket mayself

 

cool.
I've done plenty of heads but someone told me diesels have crazy torque specs because of the high compression. guess not.
My first diesel. lol
