Torque converter stall

On my 94 i had a rebuilt tranny with billet t/c from BD power. When shifted into drive I have to keep foot on brake or it wants to go. Is this a lower than stock stall? I have talked with a friend about my 01 in my sig and he says I should get a higher stall so the turbo will have time to spool. I like the way the 94 runs. Your opinion is appreciated! I don't race, just pull a 28' travel trailer and flat deck trailer w quads every now and then.

IMO you want lower than stock stall. My new tranny loads up at 1300 but firmly pops into every gear. Your getting the power to the ground FINALLY. Just up your HP a little to compensate. Its great.
