What do you want to know about them. They hold the power down, don't slip just all around good with firm not harsh shifts. Biggest plus is the customer service Dave or anyone in the staff gives. I had my trans rebuilt (see sig) drove 900 miles each way to have it done. Had a problem about 2 weeks later that it didn't want to make a 3/2 shift at low speeds 15mph. A few phone calls later Dave found me a shop 5 miles from the house, shipped 2 VB's and a host of springs for the 3/2 shift section of the VB. Local shop worked with Dave and now my trans is perfect and no cost to me for this local help. Goerend will stand behind their product. Not many companies will say that.

If you go Goerend tell them the Birthday cake guy sent you. Inside joke for a worker at Goerend.

just looking for feedback such as what you just mentioned , so if my trans takes a dump I'll be able to make an informed decision, about how much does one cost? because this and a VP44 (gonna buy one and keep it in my garage ) are next on the list

I spent 2600 and change for the input, VB, Converter and shift apply lever strap, 1 band and something else.

Check their website for current prices but last I was there a rebuilt trans was 3500 plus core.

Thanks I 'll call him, right now the truck is a work truck but I am also trying to bring it back to the way it was a couple of years ago. i use to show it at stereo/ truck shows, but then while plowing snow i backed into storage trailor and put a decent crease in the bed which is no biggie because I want to make my truck a dually and the fender flare will cover the dent,

then my exhaust fell off in the middle (rust) so now I want to do a stack setup, I should be able to do this even though I have tool boxes

I am thinking of a new tranny, because of adding the dually setup and truthfully I used to race VW's and kinda like to drive fast and would like this truck to haul_ss if you know what I mean
