Also is the sending unit touched at all?? I have one on order, truck outta warranty, and to add to it I ran out of fuel yesterday at a new high, of 1/8 tank. It was 1/16 tank. I have an extra one of those sending units, so I'm gonna do both at the same time. Keep us posted

Warranty or out of pocket? If it was out of pocket, can you share the info on how much it cost?

I think the in-tank pump comes with a sending unit........all inclusive.

I would be intrested to know if the new in-tank pump and sending unit will be a combo part and does this mean that the sending unit portion will be an upgraded version. I've been putting off replacing my sending unit,,,,, it would be nice to kill two birds with one stone! My stock lift pump was replaced under warranty @ 40 some thousand. It's still keeping good pressures, even after adding the EZ and DD2's. Now at a few hundred miles short of 100k.

The new in tank pump is a complete module including the sending unit. It replaces the existing module that you have in there now.

Wonder if it's just the tank module for a gasser.
They all have pumps.

Looks different than the gasser, but who knows. Could be of the same design, but regulated quite a bit lower. The intank pumps in the gassers replacement rate has declined alot in the last four years. I was putting so many in 94-99 trucks I was thinking I probably should cut a access panel in the bed of my old gasser. I have a conversion kit sitting at the dealer but the tech doesn't want to do it until the tank is near empty ....come to think of it I had a heck of a time getting him to finally put the VP on it when it needed it.

Yip it is a all in one. My wife said it came in!! Woohoo. I get to fix 2 problems at once. Running out of fuel sux! Man our trucks are heavy. Had to push it though a small interesction. If it was a 3500 4x4. it prolly would have sat right where it died!. I got mine shipped for about 285. pm me and I'll give ya the link. Not sure if I can post it here. prolly should read the site rules concerning that.
