still on the line with dc, what hoops did you have to jump through? they are claiming it is no longer covered!
well! dc decided to pay all but $200 for the lp. should i be happy about this? i told the dc rep that i bought the truck with a 100,000 mile warranty on the ctd. i feel the warranty should stand and have $0 out of pocket expense. i am still looking for the full warranty. can anyone advise me on this? i would really appreciate it.
i cant believe they thinnk they can change their mind on wether or not the lp is going to be a warranty. this decision on their part is going to affect my decision on a new truck this summer. the truck i am driving now is a 2001, i looked at the 06 today. i am almost ready to upgrade. maybe it will be to a duramax!

It should be covered under the 5 year/ 100,000 mile warranty. The lift pump is part of the fuel system. DC wanted a stand alone engine design from cummins, one that would run without DC having to add anything to the engine.
