My stock diff cover is rusted pretty bad, and I need to change the diff fluid. But I'm afraid if I take it off that it will either brake in the process of removal or if I try to put it back on that it will not seal when I put it back on. Does anyone know where I can find another stock diff cover? Or for that matter does anyone have one laying around that I can buy off of them?

I'm sure you can purchase a chrome one at Summit, or Jegs, or JC Whitney for that matter.

 

They are pretty thick steel, not like an oil pan or the half ton covers. I'd bet you would be ok.

I am sure you will be OK also. Clean it up and paint it if you feel like it.

 

Thanks for the input guys. I guess thats what I'll plan to do, take it off and clean it up. Hopefully it is beefier then it looks.
