start truck and lose power to dash and radio?

my 99 Dodge the remote start would not work last Sunday morning? i jumped in and started it and saw the radio dim and static over the speakers for a second, didn't give it any thought, sence last Sunday morning it has been getting worse and it appears to be not getting full voltage to the entire cab. it does start and runs fine. it only last for around 5 to 15 seconds and then good the rest of the ride. the remote start has not worked sence.

when this is going on i have nothing on the cluster working, gauges, warning lights etc. it may all come back when the grid heater kicks off, but not sure. the wife drives it more than me during the week

where does the cab get it's power from.

BTY, i have had this truck for 8 years tomorrow, i do know how the grid heater dims everything, it is not that, it is a total lose of power to the interior, it doesn't do it long enough to check the interior lights, head lights operation, i think the heater blower motor quits too. it only does it after it is started, while waiting for the wait to start light to go out, everything works fine.

Sounds like a bad body ground. I would go around and check all of the grounds and if that does not work pull all of the main wiring plugs apart and plug them back together. They may be corroded. Disconnect batteries before unplugging harnesses.
