Well I hooked the smarty to my new (to me 99) (not in sig yet) and checked for codes and then went to load SW3 so I could get hi idle and 3 cyl cut out. Just as it was about finished it said error 1. (messed all day with it I talked to MADS, Bobs helpers, ect. ect.) I ended up taking it to cummins and they can talk to it with their computer and will reflash for $275. Would you trust it or should I find a different ecm? Right now I borrowed one from a manual trans and mine is a auto all seems well. If I buy a different one should I get one for a auto or does it make a difference? Thanks
