Slow start
how is the condition of your battery cables?
make sure those are nice and clean and connections are all solid on the batteries and the connecting points
also when you say cranking slow do you mean that the engine cranks slow or the engine cranks fine and is slow to start because if it is slow to start then we have other issues probably fuel system related

Did it slow crank before the red tops? If no then I'd be looking at a faulty battery first.
Corrosion can be a big problem in places where road salts are used. Battery cables can get corroded on the inside too.
And never exchange your Denso OEM starter for an over the counter "lifetime replacement" unit. Find someone to test and fix yours first. The contacts could be partially fried too and not making a good connection.

Guess I'll be pulling the starter today. Replaced all the battery cables with 2/0 cable and military style terminals. They needed to be replaced regardless as they were in poor shape....
