slight pull on the interstate
slight pull on the interstate
I've got a 2000 with 4.10s, and 295 BFG A/Ts. When I'm on the interstate, the truck wants to pull to the left. It did the same thing before I got these tires (I used to have 265's on it).
I took it to have an alignment done, and the guy told me that the Rams have a slight pull anyway. He said that the tires could be aligned correctly to reduce wear, but to get rid of the pull, I’d have to buy a special drag length.
Has anybody else heard of this, or did I get hosed on the $30 alignment?
Thanks everybody,
Hailey

If you have a pull, try rotating the tires front to back. Tires cause a lot of pulling issues. Or you can put more caster in the side that pulls. The lower arms to the front axle have cams on them so you can adjust it a little.
