Shop in Omaha to replace Lift pump with aftermarket pump???
My original lift pump on my 2002 has gone out - I need to find a good shop to replace it with an aftermarket one, as I don't have time nor the will to replace it myself - too many other projects going on right now.
I'm looking for a place in Omaha preferred, but within the area would be okay too. Anyone know of a good shop that does good work?
Symptoms: Fuel pressure is under 10psi at idle if not under 5psi - under normal power, it drops it down and just fluctuates around - does hit bottom once a while, more now days. At times the pedal has no reaction other than just keeping speed while going. Sometimes if parked with the front uphill, it will take a while for the prime to get there and start.
I do have larger injectors in it - 275's I believe and an Edge put in.
I'm afraid that the IP has been damaged, but hoping not - how does this get tested without taking things apart or can it?
Thanks, Michael
