I just had a south bend clutch con fe installed in my truck, the mechanic said i needed to replace the master and slave cylinder and so i let him do it aswell. Now i have to jam it into 1st or 2nd to engage it and when trying to shift fast it will grind the gears. I have to wait for the rpms to drop before shifting into 5th and 6th. any ideas on what might be going on. it didnt used to do this before the new clutch. any ideas i'd really appreciate. thanks

 

Did you ever find out what was wrong?
I just installed a 1947 con ofe on mine and it doesn't seem to be fully disengaging so I am searching for some ideas.
