Shifting Problem??

Ok guys, my truck shifts funny now. Whenever I am around 39 mph and 1200 rpm's it keeps going in and out of over drive? Whats going on here? Should I try resetting the APPS? If so what could go wrong if I did that, because I have the Fecal touch! Everything I touch turns to crap!

Oh BTW I just saw two either 03's or 04's 3500 and wow are they nice. I WANT ONE!

Re:Shifting Problem??

Well I just checked the tranny fluid in Neutral because I read on the other page your supposed to do that and its down a little bit, just below the bends in the metal. So I am going to get some fluid and put that in and I will post back tomorrow. Thanks

BTW, its never done this before thats why I am wondering.

Re:Shifting Problem??

If the Fluid & the ARRS Recal don't fix it you need TSB 18-02-99 it's a reflash from dadge cost about 60 bucks.

Re:Shifting Problem??

Make a copy of the TSB and take it with you. Explain to them how the truck is acting, show them it is the same symptoms as explained in the TSB.

Should take approx. 1/2 hour.

Re:Shifting Problem??

Well I called and have and appointment for Wednesday at 10 so hopefully this will fix it. He said they charge $50 and hour and however long it will take so lets hope it really only takes half and hour, but u know these guys they will stretch it! Also the guy was real curious as to who gave me the TSB number! I told him my friends from the internet! Thanks for all the help, I'll let you know if this is what it is. They are also going to check my fuel pressure while I am there so I can see if my lift pump is bad or going! Thanks again guys.
