Shifting problem 1-2
Shifting problem 1-2
The problem I am having is under light pedal pressure first thing in the morning. It feels like it is shifting back and forth 1-2. Once warmed or a little more pedal it is fine. I just changed the fluid and adjusted the bands.
I just dont like to romp on it going down the street

Are you sure it's shifting back and forth from 1st and 2nd? Are the RPM's jumping all over? If so, what does the fluid look like? Dirty? Burned? Low? These tranny's are kinda cold blooded.
If the RPM's aren't jumping all over, maybe it's not actually shifting back and forth. The feeling your having may be the heatergrid turning on and off to heat up the motor's intake. Which causes a major ampage draw, which means the alternator has to work harder, which puts a drag on the motor.

The fluid and the filter are good. I just replaced them a couple weeks ago. It feels like it is hunting between gears and the rpms move up and down. I dont want to take it to a trans shop if some has a fix for it.
