ground connections
So the hunting issue popped back up again last week even after doing all the trans work listed above. I searched DTR till the cows came home for every other potential issue. This past wknd I reset APPS again, cleaned all batt post (with a small wire brush, liquid wrench and elec grease) and every ground I could find.
Two small grounds down low infront of the driver battery, one by the pass batt on the fender, cleaned the 3 ECM plugs and ground strap on the firewall. I think that was it! No issues for two days driving the same route and speed unloaded. I've cleaned all this in the past but still kept thinking it was a tranny issue. If you're having TC lockup or transmission shift issues I would highly recommend cleaning every single ground you can find to eliminate this first.

yep..I cleaned all those more than once..
after adding the 'new' ground wire from the APPS ground wire near the APPS connector to the driver battery. only then did the problem go away for me.
that is until it started again, but that time I was low on tranny fluid..upped the level to normal and all was good again.
